Basuki Approved Budget Composition Proposed by Health Dept.

Jakarta Governor, Basuki “Ahok” T. Purnama in general approved program proposed by Health Department in General Policy of 2016 City Budget (APBD)'s priorities and preliminary thresholds (KUA PPAS).

Basuki Crosses Out Budget Draft Without E-Planning

One of the proposal is the activity for emergency room service handling system at General Hospital (RSUD) and puskesmas (community health center) through call line 911 that cooperated with state-owned enterprise (BUMN) which running in communication field which worth Rp 8.7 billion.

“About 15 thousands incoming call within a day but merely 55 percent handled. This program is so useful,” he expressed when highlighted budget proposed by Health Dept. in general policy of 2016 KUA PPAS at City Hall, Sunday (11/22).

Ahok stated the reason program approved is due to Health Ministry recommendation as well as the cooperation that engaged BUMN.

“It already given green light but we buy the server and attach Global Positioning System (GPS) inside ambulance,” he stated.

Asides that, he also demanded Health Department to build command center with a system emergency service. The emergency service then can be developed as call center of Fire Handling and Rescue Department also police in the future.

“So, 911 service can be used for other units too,” he uttered.

Afterward, he also approved budget proposed for doctor and nurse training and also budget for contract worker recruitment in 2016 KUA-PPAS.

"A good dept. head won't feel uneasy when I recheck their budget proposed," he closed.
